The quick answer
Compare services using an inventory of your actual formats and quantities. A per-item headline price is hard to assess until each service defines an item and its deliverables.
| Your priority | Look for | Check before buying |
|---|---|---|
| A mixed collection | An accepted-format list | Damaged or unusual media exclusions |
| A comparable quote | Item definitions and all delivery charges | Editing, storage, and download fees |
| Irreplaceable originals | Tracking, handling, and return procedures | The terms for loss or damage |
Start with the job you need done
A photo digitizing service is easier to compare once you know your formats and quantities. Sort photos, tapes, and film by format before requesting a quote. Confirm whether originals return, what the digital files include, and how shipping and tracking work.
Where iMemories fits
A professional service designed to convert your home movies and photos to digital format.
Should I compare services using only their promotional discount?
No. Compare the delivered cost for the same inventory and output format. We have not verified current checkout prices or tested digitization quality across providers.
A useful next step
Write down the two requirements you cannot compromise on. Ask the seller for missing specifications and compare at least one alternative that meets those requirements. If the necessary evidence is unavailable, this guide does not provide a basis for declaring iMemories the best option.
Our full iMemories review sets out what the seller publishes and the main limitations we found. The iMemories FAQ covers the questions we get asked most.

Sources and research scope

Revised to replace unsupported rankings and make the scope of the available evidence clear.
Before ordering, record the exact model, what is included, and the delivered price with shipping, any subscription or replacement costs, and return postage. Read the return conditions for opened or used items and the deadline. A return window is not a guarantee of results or a cost-free trial, and a sale percentage is not evidence of value.
